No trainers allowed

So, yesterday we ventured into Milton Keynes for a game of bowling with some friends. After enjoying a respectable score I suggested we should go for a few drinks in the First Base bar in City Limits. We got through a few rounds and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. At eight PM a bouncer came over and told us we had half and hour to leave the building because at 8.30 First Base has a dress code that doesn’t allow trainers. Now, we’d brought them a great deal of business and would have brought a hell of lot more their way in the future. But now we wont. Something as petty as your type of footware shouldn’t prevent you from enjoying a drink in a bar. Strange but true. Yet another reason not to come to Milton Keynes. Fascists..
