He hit a lorry at 70mph and had to be cut out of his car. For all my issues with the fiat Punto, it&#8217;s certainly <a href=\"http:\/\/www.euroncap.com\/content\/safety_ratings\/details.php?id1=1&#038;id2=28\">a safe car<\/a> so im hoping the airbag did its job. He&#8217;s smashed his hip which will need mending and has broken arms and legs. There&#8217;s also a fair bit of glass in his arm apparently. He&#8217;s been in for an MRI scan to check for internal bleeding. He&#8217;s currently in Milton Keynes hospital but may be moved to Oxford to have his hip repaired.
