Watching <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/comedy\/theoffice\/characters\/profile_david.shtml\">Brent<\/a> beg for his job almost brought a tear to my eye. <a href=\"http:\/\/media.guardian.co.uk\/broadcast\/story\/0,7493,830000,00.html\">Ricky Gervais has hinted<\/a> that there may be a third series but I wonder where they can take the show now that he&#8217;s out of a job, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/comedy\/theoffice\/characters\/profile_dawn.shtml\">Dawn<\/a> is leaving and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/comedy\/theoffice\/characters\/profile_gareth.shtml\">Gareth<\/a> is the new &#8216;temporary&#8217; boss. If you missed any of the series then you can see it all over again on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/choice\/\">BBC Choice<\/a> this Saturday from 9pm.<\/p>\n<p>And what is filling the void that will inevitably be left in our Monday nights? Well, Mr <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/comedy\/partridge\/\">Alan Partridge<\/a> of course! Next Monday at 10pm, I&#8217;m Alan Partridge returns to BBC2 and sees him back on form presenting a foreign quiz show and living in a caravan whilst his house is being built.
