Rather than the complete annihilation that was promised, we have a &#8216;surgical&#8217; bombardment. Whatever, it&#8217;s all war to me. Now the news channels have got some meat for their hi-tech war walls and I expect goold ole&#8217; Peter Snow will be wheeled out to man them.<\/p>\n<p>On the housing front, we spoke to our vendor last night. She&#8217;s happy to wait until we are ready to move. We will be ready to move once a gas certificate and retrospective planning permission for the internal door are obtained. We are happy to wait until our buyer comes up with the goods. Our buyer only needs to wait until theree mortgage comes through. The people at the top of the chain want to move now. They will have to wait. What are the going to do? Pull out? Then they&#8217;ve got to put the house back on the market again and wait another couple of months. Unlikely. It would seem, there is no problem. The only people in a flap right now would seem to be the estate agents.
